Green Country Quilt Guild Show

The Green Country Quilt Guild Show was this weekend. What a wonderful show. It was spacious and roomy. There was the best diverse collection of quilts, lots of original work. I have been to lots of quilt shows and this by far was the best. Kudos to the Quilt Show Committee and the sponsors of the show.
On a personal note I was excited to see my quilt "Woodstock Revisited" with a blue ribbon and a judges ribbon. My challenge quilt "Crazy Quilt" earned a second place, my red jacket "LadyBug" earned a third place, and my small quilt "My Pond earned a honorable mention.

Class with Grace Errea

I spent last week in Phoenix at Quilting in the Desert. I took classes all week with Grace Errea, what a great teacher. You can check out her website at The first day we spent making a color value chart, it was a great tool and was used all week while construcuting our projects. My project is Popsickle Sunset. I will post photos later.
